The holiday season is one of the biggest times of the year for chocolate, and Ferrero is making sure it doesn’t miss out. The Italian confectionery giant has launched a new festive campaign called Raise A Rocher alongside a limited-edition Cinnamon Spice flavour in its Ferrero Rocher chocolate squares range. Together, they aim to put Ferrero Rocher at the centre of holiday gifting, sharing and celebrations this year.

What Is the Raise A Rocher Campaign?

Ferrero has teamed up with award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan to invite people to “Raise A Rocher” this holiday season. The idea is a playful twist on the traditional champagne toast, encouraging shoppers to celebrate special moments with a golden Ferrero Rocher instead.

The campaign celebrates the traditions, gatherings and thoughtful gestures that make the festive season special. As part of the promotion, consumers also have the chance to win prizes, including a trip to New York City.

Ferrero brand manager Leigh Daniel said Ferrero Rocher is all about making both everyday and extraordinary moments feel worthy of celebration, and that the campaign invites people to elevate the moments that matter most during the holidays.

New Limited-Edition Cinnamon Spice Squares

Alongside the campaign, Ferrero is expanding its Ferrero Rocher chocolate squares range with a limited-edition Cinnamon Spice flavour. The seasonal treat adds warm, festive spice to the brand’s signature chocolate, giving fans a cosy new way to enjoy Ferrero Rocher during the colder months. Ferrero first revealed the flavour at the Sweets & Snacks Expo earlier this year, describing it as a bold seasonal twist. Since it’s a limited edition, it will only be on shelves for the holiday season.

Why Christmas Matters So Much for Chocolate Brands

The festive season is one of the most important trading periods of the year for confectionery makers. Demand for gifting, sharing and premium chocolate typically peaks in the run-up to Christmas, as shoppers stock up on everything from stocking fillers to party snacks. For a premium brand like Ferrero Rocher, which is closely linked with gifting and celebrations, the holidays offer a major opportunity to boost sales and visibility.

The Power of Limited-Edition Flavours

Limited-edition launches have become a key tool for chocolate brands. They create buzz, encourage shoppers to try something new and drive impulse purchases. Seasonal flavours are especially effective because they create a sense of urgency: shoppers know they need to buy them before they disappear. For established brands, these launches are also a simple way to refresh a familiar product and stay top of mind during busy shopping periods.

A Busy Season for Ferrero

The Christmas push caps off a busy few months for Ferrero. The company recently launched its first-ever Kinder Halloween range and gave brands including Kinder, Tic Tac and Butterfinger a superhero makeover through a Marvel collaboration. It is also relaunching the Wonka brand with four new limited-edition treats arriving in November. For the holidays, Kinder fans can look out for festive items such as a Countdown Calendar, Polar Bear Plush, Reindeer Headband, Elf on the Shelf Minis and ready-to-hang ornaments.

Competition Heats Up

Ferrero isn’t alone in chasing Christmas sales. Rivals including Mondelēz, Mars, Nestlé, Hershey and Lindt are all increasing their investment in seasonal marketing, gifting formats and limited-edition festive products this year. With so many brands competing for attention, eye-catching campaigns and new flavours are more important than ever.
