If you’ve ever scrolled through holiday photos and felt a pang of envy at a McDonald’s burger you can’t get at home, this one’s for you. McDonald’s UK & Ireland has brought back its World Menu Heist for a second year, and this time the “stolen” goods include something British fans have been asking about for years:

Here’s a full breakdown of what’s on the menu right now, what’s already gone, how much everything costs, and what you’re eating, nutritionally speaking.

What Is the McDonald’s World Menu Heist?

The World Menu Heist is a limited-time campaign that brings international McDonald’s favourites to UK and Irish restaurants, wrapped in a playful heist-movie theme. This year’s edition was shaped by fan demand: agency Leo UK used social listening to work out which international products people wanted most, and that research became the storyline of the campaign itself.

The idea has clearly travelled. The 2025 version was later adapted by more than 40 McDonald’s markets around the world. It also worked commercially: according to the Performance Marketing Awards, the original campaign delivered the biggest sales day in McDonald’s UK history, around £10 million in earned PR, and one product sold out within its first week.

Two Waves, One Big Haul

The 2026 Heist has landed in two drops.

Wave one arrived on 22 September. It pulled fan favourites from Germany, Canada, the UAE, the Netherlands, India, China and Australia. For the first time, breakfast items were part of the line-up too.

Wave two landed on Tuesday, 20 October. It added four more items: the McExtreme from Spain, the Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry from Germany, Peach x Sprite Zero from Singapore and, for the very first time in the UK, Chicken McWings from China.

To make room, a few items said goodbye. The Big Rösti, Maple & Cheddar Chicken and Guava x Sprite Zero all left the menu after 19 October. If you missed them, unfortunately, the heist crew has already shipped them home.

The New Arrivals (From 20 October)

Chicken McWings – China

This is the headline act, and for good reason. McDonald’s UK has never sold wings before. They’re described as juicy chicken wings with a crunchy coating, available as a 3-piece side, a 5-piece main meal, or a 10-piece sharing box that you can only order through the McDonald’s app.

Price: £3.49 for 3 pieces, £5.49 for 5 pieces, £8.99 for the app-only 10-piece, and £7.19 for a 5-piece medium Extra Value Meal.

Nutrition: The 3-piece portion is listed at 286 kcal, while the 5-piece comes in at 476 kcal. mcd-menu

The McExtreme – Spain

Beef lovers, this one’s yours. It stacks two 100% British and Irish beef patties with bacon, crispy onions, cheese slices and a creamy baconnaise sauce inside a toasted glazed sesame bun.

Price: £8.99 for the burger alone, or £11.09 as a medium Extra Value Meal.

Nutrition: This is the heaviest item on the Heist menu. One McExtreme is listed at 935 kcal (3,894 kJ), which is roughly 47% of an average adult’s daily Reference Intake, along with 57g of protein. It’s a meal in itself before you even add fries.

Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry – Germany

Soft dairy ice cream is mixed with a Twix White Salted Caramel blend and finished with salted caramel sauce.

Price: £2.69 for regular and £1.99 for the mini.

Nutrition: The regular size is listed at 345 kcal and the mini at 173 kcal.

Peach x Sprite Zero – Singapore

Sprite Zero is combined with a peach-flavoured syrup and served over ice. McDonald’s has also hinted that this drink may stay on the menu a bit longer than the rest.

Price: £2.39 is listed as the most common price.

Nutrition: If you’re watching calories, this is the easiest pick on the menu. A serving contains just 6 kcal (27 kJ), with no fat or sugar, and only 0.1g each of carbohydrate and protein.

Still on the Menu From Wave One

Chicken & Egg McMuffin and Chicken & Bacon McMuffin

Breakfast got a chicken makeover. The Chicken & Egg McMuffin pairs crispy coated chicken with egg, mayo and a cheese slice in a toasted English muffin, while the Chicken & Bacon version swaps the egg for bacon. Interestingly, McDonald’s September release credited the Chicken & Egg McMuffin to Australia, while its October update credits it to Singapore.

Price: £4.39 for Chicken & Egg and £4.59 for Chicken & Bacon.

Nutrition: The Chicken & Egg McMuffin is listed at 396 kcal and the Chicken & Bacon at 363 kcal.

Paprika McShaker Fries – The Netherlands

These are regular McDonald’s fries served with a smoky paprika seasoning sachet and a shaker bag. You add the seasoning, give it a shake and you’re done.

Price: £2.29.

Nutrition: 345 kcal for a medium and 452 kcal for a large.

Mac & Cheese Triangles – UAE

Last year’s breakout star is back. These are crispy golden triangles of macaroni filled with gouda cheese sauce, served with a tomato ketchup dip.

Price: £2.89 for a regular portion or £7.09 for the Sharebox.

Nutrition: 226 kcal for a regular portion and 679 kcal for the Sharebox.

S’mores McFlurry – Canada

Soft dairy ice cream mixed with marshmallows and biscuit crumb, topped with chocolate sauce.

Price: £2.69 for regular and £1.99 for the mini.

Nutrition: 338 kcal for the regular and 169 kcal for the mini.

Szechuan Sauce – China

A sweet and savoury dip with gentle Szechuan pepper heat, priced at around 70p. Official calorie figures for the sauce weren’t available at the time of writing, so check the McDonald’s app before ordering if you’re tracking intake.

How Long Will the Heist Last?

Don’t leave it too late. The remaining wave-one items are scheduled to finish around 16 November, with the Christmas menu expected towards the end of November. McDonald’s has not yet confirmed end dates for the four wave-two items.

Is It Worth Trying?

If you only try one thing, make it the Chicken McWings. They’re a genuine first for UK McDonald’s, and at £3.49 for three, the entry price is low. Fans of a big, indulgent burger will get their money’s worth from the McExtreme, though at nearly 1,000 calories on its own, it’s better treated as an occasional treat than a regular lunch. Those keeping things lighter can pair a mini McFlurry with a Peach x Sprite Zero and still feel part of the heist.
