One of last Christmas’s sweetest surprises is back. Swedish candy brand Pandy has brought back its Berry Canes for the 2026 holiday season, giving fans another chance to enjoy its fruity, low-sugar take on the classic candy cane. Made in collaboration with Swedish influencer Klara Elvgren, the strawberry and vanilla treat combines festive flavour with Pandy’s signature better-for-you approach. Here’s what you need to know.

What Are Pandy Berry Canes?

Unlike traditional hard candy canes, Pandy Berry Canes are soft, chewy sweets. Each red and white piece is shaped like a mini candy cane and combines creamy foam with chewy jelly. The red side brings sweet strawberry flavour, while the white side adds smooth vanilla, creating a classic festive taste with a fruity twist. They’re designed as a fun, lighter treat for cosy winter moments and holiday snacking.

Just 1 Gram of Sugar Per Bag

What sets Berry Canes apart is the nutrition. A full 50 g bag contains less than 1 gram of sugar and just 70 calories, the same as last year’s edition. Instead of sugar, the candy is sweetened with alternative sweeteners and uses added fibre to create its texture. According to Pandy’s nutrition information, each bag also provides a significant amount of fibre and a small amount of protein. The candy is gluten-free, too.

As with many sugar-reduced sweets made with fibre and sweeteners, it’s best to enjoy them in moderation, as eating large amounts in one sitting may upset some people’s stomachs.

Price and Where to Buy

Berry Canes are available now through Pandy’s website, where a single 50 g bag costs kr18.80, or roughly US$1.92. Retailers are expected to stock them soon. Since Berry Canes are a limited-edition Christmas release, they’re only available for the festive season, so fans may want to stock up before they’re gone.

A Fan-Favourite Collaboration

Berry Canes are the latest product from Pandy’s partnership with Klara Elvgren, a Swedish influencer and YouTuber. The pair have teamed up on several creative low-sugar sweets over the years, including Cherry By Klara and Strawberry Liquorice By Klara. Last Christmas, they took the collaboration into the holiday season for the first time with Berry Canes, and its return suggests the festive flavour was a hit with fans.

A Busy Year for Pandy

Pandy started out making high-protein candy and has since become known for regularly launching new low-sugar treats. Earlier in 2026, the brand released better-for-you Winegums in blackcurrant, red berry and citrus flavours, followed by Berry Ovals, a soft, marshmallowy candy in wild strawberry and pomegranate. The return of Berry Canes rounds off the year with a festive favourite.
