Mountain Dew fans, get ready. The brand’s popular Baja lineup is reportedly getting a fruity new member, and it could land in stores just days into the new year.

What Is the New Flavor?

The new soda is a berry-guava take on Baja. Early leaks have called it “Berry Guava Baja,” while some reports say it may go by the name Baja Berry Sol.

It’s expected to blend three flavors:

  • Guava for a sweet, tropical taste
  • Strawberry for a berry kick
  • Lime for that familiar Baja zing

If you enjoy the tropical style of Baja Blast, this sounds like an easy one to like.

When Will It Arrive?

According to leaks shared by the Mountain Dew fan account Team Supernova, the flavor is set to launch nationwide on January 4, 2027.

Rather than a short summer run, it’s reportedly planned to stay on shelves for the whole year.

Zero Sugar Version Too

Fans watching their sugar intake are in luck. The new Baja is expected to launch alongside a Zero Sugar version. Both are reportedly coming in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans.

One Important Note

Mountain Dew hasn’t officially announced the flavor yet. The details come from leaks, so the name, date or packaging could still change before launch.

More Coming in January

The new flavor may not be the only Mountain Dew news to kick off 2027. Fan-favorite Baja Cabo Citrus is reportedly getting 2-liter bottles for the first time, also expected in January.

A Busy Year for Dew

The news caps off a big year for the brand. In 2026, Mountain Dew launched Dirty Mountain Dew, its cream soda-inspired take on the dirty soda trend, brought back a reformulated Baja Cabo Citrus, and teamed up with Trolli on a limited-edition Mango Pineapple Punch soda.
